CLARK CO. CLUB TRAILS STILL CLOSED

For snowmobilers, sometimes too much of a good thing isn?t such a good thing.Clark County Trails Coordinator Brian Duell says the Clark County Forest trails are open to snowmobiles and ATVs, but the club trails are not open. Clubs hope to have them open sometime next week.
The reason: too much snow.
The clubs have been hurting for members in recent years. The weekend blizzard complicated their efforts to sign the trails. Now, the drifts have made that job very difficult. They?re also struggling to groom the trails, many of which cut across open farm fields which saw their snow blow away.
Duell says snowmobilers should stay tuned for details.
