WOLF PACK TO BE TERMINATED

Wildlife officials are going to kill off a wolf pack northeast of Tomah.The Bear Bluff pack claims territory in Jackson, Monroe and Juneau counties. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service has killed six wolves and is pursuing "one or two more."
The wolves have become too habituated to humans and were exhibiting "bold behavior."
No humans have been attacked by wolves, but wolves killed three dogs and injured four others in five separate incidents between Jan. 8 and Sept. 18.
