WINTER WONDERLAND BIGGER, BETTER THAN EVER

500,000 lights just weren?t enough for the organizers of the 5th annual Marshfield Rotary Winter Wonderland."This year, we have 200,000 more lights than we had last year. That's 700,000 total lights for the event," boasts event spokesperson Marty Anderson.
Last year, the light show at Wildwood Park raised over 46,000 items of food for local pantries. They want to beat that record this year.
"We have a focus on getting people back to the park," Anderson explains, "so, we have a lot of events that will take place throughout the event, all the way from November 26th to December 31st."
Almost all the lights are up and ready for the Grand Opening on Friday, November 26th. The display will be open from 5-9 p.m. every night from the opening through Tuesday, December 31st. There is no admission charge, but donations of non-perishable food or persona-care items will be collected, along with cash donations.
There are tons of special events this year. The best way to keep track is to log onto their website or become a fan on Facebook.
