Coronavirus Numbers for January 15th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 2,957 positive cases, an increase of 12 over yesterday.  Of those, 88 are currently active.  Clark County has had 54 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 515,982 positive cases (an increase of 2,712 over the previous day) and 5,290 deaths, an increase of 42 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 22,804, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

For our other neighboring counties:

In total, Chippewa has seen 6,429 positive and 72 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 9,981 positive and 90 deaths,

Jackson has seen 2,483 positive and 19 deaths.

Marathon has seen 12,717 positive and 166 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,682 positive and 14 deaths

And Wood has seen a total of 6,038 positive cases and 61 deaths.
