From WRN:A Hayward man was arrested twice in just over 24 hours ? once for his seventh drunken driving charge and then for violating bond hours after he appeared in court. The Lincoln County sheriff?s department arrested 42-year-old Ferdinand Humer Monday afternoon after eyewitnesses reported that he was driving recklessly on Highway 51. He failed field sobriety tests.
Police found marijuana when they booked him into jail and Humer was charged with felony possession of marijuana as a repeat offender and with bringing marijuana into a correctional facility. A judge ordered Humer not to drive as a condition of his bond. But a sheriff?s deputy saw Humer driving his car away from the wrecker service where it was towed. Humer was arrested for felony bail jumping and will appear in court for another bond hearing on Wednesday.
Humer?s passenger was arrested for throwing a marijuana pipe into the ditch during the original traffic stop. But police say the passenger was so drunk that they had to check him into a hospital. He?ll be summoned into court at a later date.
