JACKSON CO. GETS NEW CORONER

Jackson County has a new coroner. Gov. Jim Doyle appointed Debora Olson to the post with a term expiring Jan. 2, 2011.Olson most recently served as Jackson County chief deputy coroner. She also has worked for the Ho-Chunk Nation, the American Heart Association and as an EMT in Black River Falls.
Olson fills a vacancy created when former coroner Michael Quinn resigned.
