FORMER NURSING HOME EMPLOYEE FACES CHARGES

Charges are expected to be filed today against a former nursing home employee accused of stealing a resident?s identity.34-year-old Rachel Olson of Neillsville admitted to taking credit cards, a social security card and driver?s license from a resident in May.
The resident?s family became suspicious when over $1,000 in charges were rung up on the man?s KwikTrip credit card. Surveillance video shows Olson using the card. She later admitted to stealing the items.
She said the decision to take the items was ?spontaneous?. She saw the man?s wallet in his nightstand drawer.
If convicted, she could spend six years in prison and pay $10,000 in fines.
