VANDALS HIT MARSHFIELD CEMETERY

Authorities in Marshfield are investigating after vandals caused more than $9,900 worth of damage to seven tombstone markers in the Hillside Cemetery. The damage was reported on Monday by the cemetery staff.According to the Marshfield NewsHerald, seven tombstones were damaged sometime after July 29 with a blunt object like a bat. Crosses, angels, a Jesus sculpture and other objects were smashed, crushed or broken.
