RECORDS: KOULAS SHOT IN HEAD

We have new information on the shooting deaths of a La Crosse area couple.The La Crosse Tribune reports official documents say Dennis and Merna Koula were shot in the head.
They were found dead in their home on May 24, but authorities say they were likely murdered on May 21.
Potential DNA and trace evidence continue to be analyzed at the State Crime Lab in Madison.
Investigators said earlier this month they had narrowed a list of suspects and remain confident of making an arrest.
