DEER SHINING RULE MAY GET MORE STRICT
Thursday, July 22nd, 2010 -- 9:03 AM
Clark County?s deer shining ordinance might soon grow more restrictive.Currently, shining wild animals with a light isn?t allowed from midnight to 7 a.m., except during the fall deer hunting seasons, when it?s not allowed from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
An ordinance that passed through the law enforcement committee this week would make the ban shining from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. for the whole year.
The ordinance change needs to be approved by the full county board.
