SUSPICIOUS CABIN FIRE NEAR MERRILLAN

A day after responding to some of the worst storms the area has ever seen, the Merrilan Fire Department was busy fighting a suspicious fire last night.A cabin east of Merrillan is considered a complete loss. Crews were called their at around 9:45 last night.
The cabin was already fully engulfed in flames when the arrived.
Merrillan fire chief Al Lunderville says no one currently lives there, but the owner was briefly at the cabin yesterday afternoon, cutting up trees from the storm.
Clark County investigators are looking into the fire.
