Withee Village Board Hears Report from O-W-C Fire District

The Withee Village Board heard a report from the O-W-C Fire District at their meeting.

In Committee reports, the board heard the O-W-C Fire District is looking to take a loan out for a new fire truck.  Also, the department of public works will soon have their updated Windows 10 computer for the SCADA system.  Everett Lindgren has filed papers to seek re-election for Village President and Gordon Niemi has filed papers to seek re-election for Village Trustee.

The Village Board also approved Resolution 01-01-2021 authorizing a referendum to allow the village to exceed the state-imposed levy limit beginning with the 2021 levy and on an ongoing basis to help fund a third full-time police officer of the Owen-Withee Police Department to be put on the April 6, 2021 ballot.
