ALLEGED ARMED ROBBERY WAIVES TIME LIMITS

A 28-year-old Fairchild man accused of armed robbery has waived the time limits for his preliminary hearing.Authorities say Justin Farmer and his girlfriend, Desiree Johnson, broke into a home on 14th Street early in the morning of Friday, June 11. Farmer pointed a gun at one of the residents and bound two people with duct tape.
Farmer faces 10 charges, including armed robbery with the threat of force and false imprisonment. Johnson is charged as a ?party to the crime? on two felonies and 2 misdemeanors.
During yesterday?s initial appearance, Farmer waived the time limits for his preliminary hearing. A status conference is set for July 22nd.
Both Johnson and Farmer are held in the Clark County Jail on significant cash bonds.
