A Milwaukee man arrested after a police chase in Marshfield was sentenced in Wood County Court on Monday.
Back in April of 2019, police tried to pull over a vehicle, driven by Brandon Urquhart, as it had been involved in a drug deal earlier in the year. Urquhart fled the scene, but was arrested after a chase that spanned 34 miles.
Urquhart threw drugs out the window during the chase. In November, he was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, possession with intent-amphetamine and 1st degree recklessly endangering safety.
He also pleaded guilty to vehicle operator fleeing/eluding an officer. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison and 5 years of extended supervision.
