KOULA INVESTIGATION LA CROSSE COUNTY'S LARGEST EVER

The investigation into a double-homicide in La Crosse County is already the largest criminal investigation in that county?s history.The bodies of Dennis and Merna Koula, formerly from Neillsville, were found May 24 in their town of Barre home.
Seventeen investigators are working on the case. They've conducted interviews in four counties and two states.
Helgeson said last week the investigation is focused on the afternoon and evening of Friday, May 21.
A funeral for the couple was held Thursday.
