LOYAL RESIDENTS TOLD TO BOIL WATER

Residents in Loyal were advised Thursday to boil their water because of high levels of coliform bacteria.

Additional tests are planned for Saturday. Two "all clear" tests are required before the water-boiling advisory is lifted.

The bacteria may be the result of rainwater run-off, or animal contamination.
