ELECTION FRAUD CHARGE COULD BE COUNTY'S FIRST

A Thorp man has been convicted of voter fraud; it?s believed to be the first case of voter fraud prosecuted in Clark County.Daniel Bohl, 47, was a convicted felon on probation when he cast his ballot in the April 2009 election.
District Attorney Darwin Zwieg filed fraud charges after receiving a report from the Government Accountability Board, stating Bohl?s name appeared on both a list of people who voted during the election, and who were felons still on probation.
Bohl pleaded no contest to the charge, which is also a felony.
He received a $350 fine and must pay court costs.
