Coronavirus Numbers for November 5th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:

The state has seen a total of 244,002 positive cases (an increase of 5,935 over the previous day) and 2,156 deaths, an increase of 54 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 12,087, or 5%, have been hospitalized.  In total, Clark County has seen 1,107 positive cases.  For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 2,260 positive, Eau Claire has seen 4,316 positive, Jackson has seen 720 positive, Wood has seen 2,188 positive, Marathon has seen 5,932 positive and Taylor has seen 614 positive.

Clark County has had 19 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 67 people die from the virus; Chippewa has had 24 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 28 people die from the virus; Wood has had 15 people die from the virus; Taylor has had 7 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had 2 people die from the virus.
