Coronavirus Numbers for January 12th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 2,924 positive cases, an increase of 38 since Friday.  Of those, 87 are currently active.  Clark County has had 54 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 508,346 positive cases (an increase of 1,456 over the previous day) and 5,162 deaths, an increase of 5 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 22,434, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

For our other neighboring counties:

In total, Chippewa has seen 6,295 positive and 70 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 9,809 positive and 87 deaths,

Jackson has seen 2,468 positive and 18 deaths.

Marathon has seen 12,561 positive and 161 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,661 positive and 14 deaths

And Wood has seen a total of 5,963 positive cases and 55 deaths.
