TAYLOR CO. SHOOTING INVESTIGATED

One man?s in jail, another remains hospitalized after a shooting in Taylor County Monday afternoon.According to the Taylor County Sheriff?s Department, Patrick Staton, 20, of Gilman was driven by a woman to a hospital in Ladysmith after he was shot in the stomach at his residence yesterday afternoon.
At about the same time, Taylor County dispatch received two 911 calls from the residence, but no one was on the line.
A deputy went to the home and found blood.
Dusn Novakovic, 47, of Glen Flora was taken into custody last night in Rusk County. He was transported to the Taylor County Jail, where he awaits an initial appearance on an attempted homicide charge.
