FORMER SHERIFF WILL RETURN TO AREA AS US MARSHALL

A Neillsville native and former Clark County Sheriff is set to return to Western Wisconsin as a U.S. Marshall.Dallas Neville is now the deputy director of emergency police services at the Department of Military Affairs.
President Barack Obama has picked him to replace Pres. George W. Bush?s appointment to the post, Stephen Fitzgerald. Neville has to be confirmed by the Judiciary Committee and the U.S. Senate.
This isn't the first time he's been a U.S. Marshall. President Bill Clinton appointed him to the position for the area from 1994 to 2002.
