NO PUNISHMENT FOR WOOD

An Assembly ethics committee has decided not to recommend any punishment for troubled state Rep. Jeff Wood.Wood (I-Chippewa Falls) was arrested three times since December 2008 for driving under the influence. Those arrests prompted Rep. Steve Nass (R-Whitewater) to call for his ouster from the Assembly.
But, The six-member panel countered Wood's constituents have not mounted a recall attempt and his cases haven't been resolved.
