From the National Weather Service in La Crosse:With temperatures expected to remain above freezing for much of the week, look for the spring snowmelt to continue. In addition to water runoff from the snowmelt, a large low pressure system will bring an extended period of rainfall to the region through Friday. This rainfall will combine with the snowmelt runoff to cause rises along area rivers, creeks, and streams. At this time, rivers are being monitored closely and rises are fairly likely, but it is still uncertain how high river levels will get. Please monitor the following links for information on possible flooding of rivers, creeks, and streams in your area.
