Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010 -- 11:24 AM
If you aren?t a seatbelt wearer, you may want to start now.The Clark County Sheriff?s Department and the Neillsville Police Department announced today they?re going to intensify their safety belt enforcement patrols from March 12 to 21.
The joint effort is being funded by grants that the Clark County Sheriff's Department and Neillsville Police Department received from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Bureau of Transportation Safety.
Wisconsin has a mandatory safety belt law; it provides for a fine of $10 and no points are assigned against a person's driver record.
