HUNTERS SHOOT FEWER BUILDINGS

Hunters shot fewer buildings during the 2009 gun-deer season.Ten buildings were hit, down from 25 in 2008, 19 in 2007 and 15 in 2006, according to the DNR.
The report describes the buildings as homes and barns.
Authorities determined the identity of the shooter in 5 of the incidents. 4 of the shootings involved a rifle and another four a shotgun.
