Merry Christmas? now pay your taxes.Along with the Christmas cards and presents, area residents will be receiving their property tax bills soon. In fact, some area municipalities have already shipped them out.
The City of Neillsville plans to mail theirs in the next week.
Property owners can either pay the whole bill by January 31st, or split the bill. If they split it, the first half is due to your local municipality by January 31st and the 2nd half must be paid to the county by July 31st.
The property tax bill includes payments for the local municipality, the county, the public school district and technical college district.
