Coronavirus Numbers for January 6th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 2,859 positive cases, an increase of 14 over yesterday.  Of those, 109 are currently active.  Clark County has had 51 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 491,341 positive cases (an increase of 3,403 over the previous day) and 4,979 deaths, an increase of 95 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 21,796 or 4%, have been hospitalized.

For our other neighboring counties:

In total, Chippewa has seen 6,015 positive and 67 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 9,464 positive and 80 deaths,

Jackson has seen 2,415 positive and 18 deaths.

Marathon has seen 12,201 positive and 160 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,606 positive and 14 deaths

And Wood has seen a total of 5,788 positive cases and 53 deaths.
