A couple of big Clark County court cases may near completion Tuesday.

Prosecutors allege Meier punched 43-year-old Keith Young at the Brickyard Bar and Restaurant on February 1st. Young fell, apparently hitting his head. He was hospitalized in critical condition from shortly after the assault, to the time of his death on February 3.

According to on-line court records, the time is set aside for a judge to handle motions and determine if Meier will forfeit $10,000 after he was arrested for OWI while on bond.

But, we?ve learned Meier may enter a guilty or no contest plea to the charge of Felony Murder ? Battery, which carries a maximum prison sentence of 15 1/2 years.

Also Tuesday, Mark Hiserman is scheduled to enter pleas to a string of burglaries.

Hiserman faces over 30 counts in all. According to past reports, he and 20-year-old accomplice stole a refrigerator, flat screen TVs, lap tops, video game systems, a stove, power tools, clothing, furniture, cash and more from several Neillsville area homes.

Nearly one dozen firearms, including shotguns, rifles and handguns, were also taken.
