LOCAL MAN RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR

A local man is running for Governor.

According the Marshfield NewsHerald, 37-year-old Kevin Schmidtke of Marshfield is running as an Independent.

Schmidtke is a volunteer firefighter, husband and parent of seven children.
He describes the state government as a ?sinking ship.?

Schmidtke will be gathering signatures prior to the summer deadline to get in the race.
