The man accused of felony-murder for his role in a Neillsville bar room fight is back in jail.Earlier this month, Tyler Meier, who now resides in Eleva, was arrested for operating while intoxicated in Rhinelander.
Last week, Meier pleaded to 3rd offense OWI. He received 90 days in jail, a fine and license revocation.
Here in Clark County, prosecutors allege Meier punched 43-year-old Keith Young at the Brickyard Bar and Grill on February 1st. Young fell, apparently hitting his head. He was hospitalized in critical condition from shortly after the assault, to the time of his death on February 3.
Meier was released from jail after his family posted a $20,000 cash bond; the bond was later reduced to $10,000.
Clark County District Attorney Darwin Zwieg has charged Meier with two counts of felony bail jumping. He?s next scheduled to be in court on December 1.
