CLARK CO. JOBLESS RATE IS MIDDLE OF THE ROAD

Clark County continues to be in the middle of the pack for unemployment rates.The Department of Workforce Development released their [url=http://www.dwd.state.wi.us/dwd/newsreleases/ui_local_default.pdf]local unemployment report[/url] Wednesday.
Clark County?s rate for August was 8.3%. That?s down from 8.8% in July, but well above last year?s rate of 4.7%.
Clark County has the 37th highest unemployment rate in the state.
Wood County has an unemployment rate of 8.8%, Taylor County has the 12th highest rate in the state, 9.6%. Jackson County?s rate is 7.6%.
