A fatal drug overdose in Marshfield is being investigated as a possible criminal case, according police officials.Chris Keel, 31, of Marshfield died from a combination of prescription painkillers. Only one of the four drugs found in his body was prescribed to him.
How Keel obtained the drugs remains unclear. Officers have leads, says
Police Chief Joe Stroik.
Stroik says a person who provides drugs to someone who dies from an overdose could face possible homicide charges.
