PENALTIES COULD STIFFEN FOR NO-CAL LIST VIOLATORS

The state Senate has approved a bill that would stiffen the penalties for violating Wisconsin's do-not-call list.The current $100 forfeiture would jump to between $1,000 to $10,000, under the measure.
The bill would also individuals to sue telemarketers for up to $500 per violation.
The bill now heads to the Assembly.
