Wood County?s new District Attorney is no stranger to the county.On Monday, Gov. Jim Doyle appointment of John Henkelmann to fill the vacancy left when former district attorney Todd Wolf became the Branch 3 Circuit Court judge.
A long-time resident of Wood County, Henkelmann has been assistant district attorney since 1985. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and his law degree from Hamline University in 1982.
