COUNCIL APPROVES REPAVING

STH 73 in Neillsville will get a face lift in a couple years.Tuesday night, the Neillsville City Council approved spending up to $73,900 for the repaving of STH 73 from USH 10 to 4th Street and from O?Neill Creek to Bieneck Rd., just north of the city limits. That does not include the downtown portions of Hewett St.
State and federal sources will pick up the remainder of the $1.4-million project, which is slated for 2011.
The city is also seeking around $18,000 in grant money to offset their costs.
