CENSUS: WISCONSIN DOING A GOOD JOB INSURING

New Census Bureau data shows Wisconsin has one of the lowest percentages of uninsured people in the country.The data released Monday shows 9.9% of Wisconsinites are uninsured. That is 4th best in the U.S., just trailing Minnesota, Massachusetts and Hawaii.
Texas has the worst rate in the country, with 27.6% of its population uninsured.
Closer to home, Clark County has one of the highest uninsured rates in the state.
The data shows about 13.7% of county residents have no insurance. That?s the 9th worst rate in the state.
Vilas County has the worst rate at around 18%. Waukesha Co. has the best rate, at 7.1%.
Wood Co. is 4th best, with a rate of 7.8%.
