Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 -- 2:45 PM
A Columbia Co. judge will rule in December on whether a Wisconsin trooper's search of a lawmaker's vehicle was legal.Rep. Jeff Wood wants two bags of marijuana and drug paraphernalia suppressed as evidence because the trooper did not have a search warrant.
Wood was charged with third-offense drunken driving and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he crashed into a highway sign in December. A state trooper found him urinating on the side of the road and searched his car.
