STUDY: WISCONSINITES ARE FAT

Unfortunately, there is no sugar-coating the results of a new study: Wisconsinites are among the most overweight in the country.And, Clark County has one of the biggest problems with obesity.
[url=http://dhs.wisconsin.gov/health/physicalactivity/pdf_files/executivesummary.pdf]The report[/url] from the state Department of Health Services shows 'Wisconsin's' obesity rate is 16th highest in the country.
Clark County?s obesity rate ranks in the top 25% of 'Wisconsin's' 72 counties.
At least half the adults in every Wisconsin county are either overweight or obese; while one in four Wisconsin high school students are overweight or obese.
The obesity rate for adults in Wisconsin has more than doubled since 1990.
