CROOK HITS AREA FIREWORKS CELEBRATION

Authorities are investigating after someone apparently took thousands of dollars during a fireworks celebration.It happened in the Taylor County community of Jump River.
The Town Chairman says someone made off with a moneybag during the fireworks. It contained between $8,000 to $10,000 of earnings.
Officials with the Jump River Lions' Club say it will be difficult to hold the event next year without the money, but they?re sure the community will work together to make it happen.
