BUSY DAY FOR GREENWOOD RESPONDERS

A lot of sirens in Greenwood Monday.Responders were called to a residence in the Town of Worner after a 16-year-old girl fell off a horse. It happened at around 2:30 p.m. The girl was airlifted to St. Joseph?s Hospital in Marshfield, but she?s believed to be doing all right.
There was another call in the City of Greenwood at about the same time.
Then, later in the day, they were called to a farm where a man lost his thumb. According to reports, the man was trying to control a heifer. He had a rope tied around his thumb. The heifer bolted pulling off his thumb.
