CLARK CO. JOBLESS RATE DOWN .8%

The unemployment picture improved a bit in May.According to [url=http://www.dwd.state.wi.us/dwd/newsreleases/ui_local_default.pdf]new statistics[/url] released by the Department of Workforce Development, unemployment rates decreased in 49 of the states 72 counties.
Dane County still has the lowest unemployment rate at 5.9%.
The highest rate is in Rusk County, where 13.4% of the workforce are unemployed.
Here in Clark County, the unemployment rate fell to 8.9% from 9.7% in May. Clark County has the 37th highest unemployment rate in the state.
