2 INJURED, 1 DEAD IN WKND MOTORCYCLE CRASHES

A Neillsville couple was sent to the hospital Saturday night after a motorcycle-versus-deer collision west of town.According to the accident report, a motorcycle operated by 57-year-old Bruce Vandeberg of Neillsville was eastbound on USH 10, just east of the Clark-Eau Claire County line, when it struck a deer, ejecting Vandeberg and his passenger, 47-year-old Lorey Vandeberg.
The accident happened at around 8:45 p.m. Saturday night.
Neither occupant was wearing a helmet.
Both were transported with incapacitating injuries.
Lorey Vandeberg was listed in critical condition this morning at St. Joseph?s hospital in Marshfield.
Meanwhile, a 61-year-old Marshfield man was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday night.
It happened in the City of Marshfield on East Fillmore Street. John Kohlbeck was thrown from the bike after striking a curb.
Kohlbeck, who was not wearing a helmet, died of his injuries after he was transported to Saint Joseph's Hospital.
