ANOTHER AWARD FOR LOCAL FFA CHAPTER

The 80th annual Wisconsin FFA Convention continues in Madison with a local chapter picking up a big award.The Granton FFA won the Food for America Program competition, which recognizes outstanding chapters who are promoting agricultural products and knowledge to elementary school children.
Granton graduate Pat Sternitzky was one of 19 supporters honored with the Honorary Degree, the highest honor which the FFA Association can bestow on a non-member. Pat has covered the convention on his website, Wisconsin Ag Connection.
Jeanie Untiedt of the Colby FFA was selected as the Section 7 state officer.
