BRF HOUSE DESTROYED IN FIRE

A Black River Falls area home was destroyed by fire Tuesday afternoon.The Black River Falls Fire Department was called to the fire on Second Street in the Town of Brockway at around 3:20 p.m.
Smoke was billowing from the roof of the building before crews arrived.
24 firefighers from Black River Falls, Merrillan and Hixton fought the fire for five and-a-half hours.
The building was a complete loss.
No one was injured.
The cause is under investigation.
