ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING INVESTIGATED

The Taylor County Sheriff?s Department is investigating an accidental shooting.According to a press release, authorities were called to the home near Rib Lake at around 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
The 9-1-1 call stated a 14-year-old girl had accidentally been shot, and was being transported by private vehicle to the Village of Rib Lake for treatment.
Further investigation revealed the girl sustained a 4? to 5? grazing wound to the neck. She was treated and released from Memorial Health Center and was not severely injured.
The shooting remains under investigation.
