NEILLSVILLE GIRLS, LOYAL BOYS TOP TRACK MEET

From Larry Hoeser in Sports:The Neillsville Warrior Girl?s Track & Field team was crowned the Eastern Cloverbelt Conference Champions Tuesday night in Colby. Neillsville was led by Senior Sheila Opelt who took first in the 100 Meter Hurdles, 300 Meter Hurdles, High Jump and Long Jump. Also taking first individually were Stephanie O?Leary in the Pole Vault, Allison Sydorowicz in the Shot Put, and Caitlin Courtney in the Discus, Neillsville also took first in the 4x200 Meter Relay. Marshfield Columbus finished second followed by Colby and Owen-Withee.
The Loyal Greyhound Boys were Champions on the boys side with Trevor Jakobi winning the 100 and 200 meter dashes, Sean Casey won the 110 and 300 meter hurdles and also the Triple Jump and the 4 X 400 relay team also took first place. Neillsville finished second as team followed by Augusta and Marshfield Columbus.
