Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 -- 1:14 PM
Milwaukee police say they have linked a seventh case to a serial killer working over more than two decades. There could be more.
Officials used DNA evidence to tie the deaths of 6 women - 5 of them prostitutes - to one person. They believe that person killed 5 of the women and had sex with the sixth. They don't know who the person is.
On Tuesday, police said they linked another dead prostitute to the killer.
The homicides occurred between 1986 and 2007 on Milwaukee's north side.
The one victim not connected to prostitution was involved in drug use and sales.
Police have submitted or resubmitted DNA samples from more than two dozen unsolved homicides to see if they are related.
