LA FRANCHI IN COURT

A Colorado man, formerly from Neillsville, had his initial appearance delayed Thursday as the court waits for him to get an attorney.David La Franchi, 54, was on Wisconsin's list of most wanted sex offenders. He skipped the state in violation of his sentence for 1st degree sexual assault of a child.
Earlier this year, he turned up in Colorado and was arrested after a multi-state crime spree.
While on the run, authorities say La Franchi stole identities, including that of a deceased Colorado man.
La Franchi remains in the Clark County jail on a cash bond.
