Wisconsin's budget-writing committee decided Tuesday to take the week off as they wait for new revenue projections.Joint Finance Committee member Sen. Luther Olsen, a Republican from Ripon, says he thinks the deficit might grow by as much as $1.2 billion. He asked the panel to take a break after Tuesday's work and wait for the new projections.
The committee's co-chairman, Sen. Mark Miller, D-Monona, agreed. He says the committee won't meet again until next Tuesday.
