Friday, October 30th, 2026 -- 10:00 AM
(Wisconsin Radio Network) Governor Tony Evers has announced the theme for this year’s Capitol Holiday Tree.
According to the Wisconsin Radio Network, the theme for the 2026 Capitol Holiday Tree is “The Year of the Neighbor,” tying into Evers’ designation of 2026 as his final Year’s theme in office.
Students are encouraged to create handmade ornaments celebrating what it means to be a good neighbor and the people who make their communities better. The tree will be displayed in the State Capitol rotunda throughout the holiday season.
Ornament submissions from students and families around Wisconsin are due by November 20th.
